Police visit to the RAF Air Cadets - Armthorpe |

|
Doncaster East Neighbourhood team had the pleasure of visiting the RAF Air Cadets 1053 Squadron in Armthorpe a couple of weeks ago.
The team presented to the Cadets, giving them an insight into modern day Policing and some of the work we do. The team took an array of kit and vehicles to give the cadets a hands on experience of some of the equipment we have access to.
Riot gear, Drones, Handcuffs, Van cells, blue lights and sirens were all free to access!
We were also joined by the city of Doncaster Council Neighbourhood and wellbeing team. They were on hand to discuss community issues, explaining how advice and support can be obtained.
The RAF Cadets is a fantastic organisation and we encourage any young person to give it a try. The 1053 Squadron are also looking for Adult volunteers, so if you think you may be interested please visit:
This has become an annual visit for our neighbourhood team, and i'm not sure who enjoys it more, the Police Officers or the Cadets!
We are already looking forward to next years visit.
