Two stolen vehicles recovered

It turns out that two vans stolen recently weren't good at playing hide and seek… they were both located yesterday morning in Thorne and they're now on their way back to their rightful owners.

While we're always happy to reunite vehicles with their owners, we'd much rather thieves didn't get behind the wheel in the first place.

We would encourage all vehicle owners to help protect their vehicles by:

•  Always locking doors and closing windows
•  Removing keys from the vehicle, even for short periods
•  Parking in well-lit or secure area's where possible
•  Consider additional security such as steering locks, alarms or trackers
•  Avoiding leaving valuable tools or equipment on display
