Stolen motorbike recovered

A motorbike stolen in Stainforth didn't get very far after officers from your Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team located it and returned it to it's owner within 10 minutes of the theft being reported.

Safe to say the thieves joyride was shorter than a tea break!

Motorbike owners are reminded to help protect their bikes by:

• Using a chain and ground anchor lock
• Fitting a tracker or immobiliser
• Parking in secure well-lit locations
• Recording frame and engine numbers
• Using covers to keep bikes out of sight
