Speeding operations - Stainforth and Barnby Dun

Another day in Stainforth and Barnby Dun and another speeding operation…

We know some see this as a “waste of time" - but for us, it's about keeping everyone safe. Speeding isn't just a number on a dial, it's the difference between stopping safely and causing serious harm.

The vast majority of drivers got it right (thank you!), but a few didn't - and those are the one's who put the whole community at risk.

On Church Road in Stainforth - 68 vehicle's were monitored with 15 contravening the 20mph speed limit.

On Stainforth Road in Barnby Dun - a further 71 vehicle's were monitored with 6 contravening the 30 mph speed limit. One driver was travelling at 51mph in a 30mph zone.

Road safety isn't optional, and neither is our commitment to it. 

Slow down - ease of the accelerator, it make's a real difference.
