Wildlife and Rural Crime |
||
We’re committed to protecting our countryside, wildlife, and rural communities. We work alongside our rural and wildlife crime team to tackle issues like poaching, livestock worrying, heritage crime, and rural theft.
We know that rural and wildlife crime can have a serious impact on our local communities, that’s why officers from your Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team are out and about across rural areas, working closely with farmers, landowners, and local residents to:
• Patrol key rural locations and deter criminal activity • Investigate reports of poaching, illegal trapping, and animal cruelty • Support farmers in preventing equipment theft and livestock offences
We work closely with farmers, landowners, and residents to keep our area safe — but we rely on your eyes and ears. If you see suspicious activity or offences involving wildlife or rural property, please report it to us on 101 (or 999 in an emergency). You can also share information anonymously via Crimestoppers. | ||
