Lindholme Prison arrest

Last week Officers were called to Lindholme Prison to reports of a male trying to throw things over the prison walls.

The suspicious male was in possession of a large catapult and was trying to send items into the prison.

Officers deployed to the area and set a containment around the prison.

The specialist Drone Officers attended and searched the area from the sky, maintaining the Prisons security.

It wasn't long before a male matching the description gave up the chase and presented himself to officers.

He was arrested for conveying a prohibited article into prison and is now on Police bail whilst further investigation takes place.
