We are in the second year of running a CPR campaign aiming to train children, young adults and
members of the public in this life saving skill.
Last year we launched the campaign on the 10th October 2025. This initiative was a new concept in
delivering CPR training online via YouTube by broadcasting live streams of training on the hour ever
hour over a 12 hour period. The initiative was incredibly successful and resulted in a Guinness World
Record for the most views of a cpr instructional video on YouTube.
This year we are back with ambitious plans to train 1 million people over the next 3 years.
2025 initiative is scheduled for the 1st October 2025 and live sessions will be streamed on the hour
every hour. We will be launching specific sessions in the morning for school children, young adult
sessions in the afternoon and evening sessions suitable for everyone.
We are looking for assistance in reach as wide an audience as possible. Do you work with a school,
youth or community group and feel they would benefit from the training? All that would be involved is assisting the organisation in signing up and then on the day assisting
them with learning hands only CPR. The training will be paramedic led and will not require any
specialist equipment.
We are also offering an opportunity for cpr demonstration videos to feature on the live broadcast!
You could create a short video at an iconic location of your organisation doing cpr on bags / coats etc
(please don’t demonstrate cpr on people) and send it to us. The best videos will be broadcast during
the live session.
Training will be live streamed on YouTube and Twitch. Further live platforms may also be available
and will be confirmed in due course.
Training will begin at 0900 hours and run on the hour every hour until 2100 hours. All we need is 20
minutes of your time and all you need is your hands and a coat, bag or even a pillow.
