Speeding Operation - Barnby Dun

Over the past week we have conducted a number of speeding operations in Barnby Dun following concerns from residents who attended our regular community engagement meetings.

We take speeding concerns seriously and when time allows, focus on those areas alongside attending our regular hotspots.

On Top Road in Barnby Dun 70 vehicles were monitored,  3 drivers were dealt with for contravening the 30mph speed limit.

On Madam Lane in Barnby Dun a further 65 vehicles were monitored, 18 drivers were dealt with for contravening the 20mph speed limit.

We will continue conducting regular speed checks in and around the East of Doncaster and ask that you continue to report your speeding concerns to us. 

These operations will continue to take place at all time of the day including early morning and into the evening, you will see us in your area very soon.
