Crime Stoppers

CrimeStoppers are running a June campaign which started Tuesday for three weeks around Neighbourhood Crime.

Independent charity Crimestoppers has today launched a focused campaign to raise awareness about neighbourhood crime across the UK. Starting on 10 June for three weeks, the initiative aims to inform communities, encourage vigilance, and promote anonymous reporting to help create safer neighbourhoods throughout the region. Neighbourhood crime affects many residents and undermines community safety and wellbeing. It includes issues such as burglary, vehicle theft, anti-social behaviour and other local crimes that impact daily life. Crimestoppers’ campaign seeks to empower residents to be proactive in safeguarding their communities by recognising suspicious activity and reporting it confidentially. Crimestoppers guarantees complete anonymity for anyone who provides information, removing barriers to reporting and fostering community involvement.’
