Officers on mobile patrol in Stainforth, sighted a moped on Kirton Lane being ridden and then pushed from the pit top by two youths. 

Officers quickly stopped and detained the males and whilst conducting checks it transpires that the moped had a cloned registration plate and was in an unsafe roadworthy state. 

The youths were returned home to their parents, the investigation is on-going with regards to determine if the moped was stolen.

We are also working alongside colleagues from the City of Doncaster council with regards to intervention to support young people and prevent issues like crime, anti-social behaviour, and substance misuse.
