BIKER DOWN EVENTS 2024

The Community Safety Team at the Lifewise Centre, Hellaby, will once again be running the national BikerDown! scheme in South Yorkshire through 2024, which simply poses the question - Would you know what to do at the scene of a road collision?

BikerDown! aims to provide members of the public with basic scene management and first aid skills to make a positive impact if ever confronted with a road incident, even a few skills could make the difference between life and death.  The sessions cover both theory and practical aspects, from risk assessing a scene to administrating CPR.  BikerDown! does cover some aspects specific to riders, but is open to any road users, as well as groups, clubs, or friends that may ride or travel together.

The sessions are FREE for any residents or road users in South Yorkshire, but pre-booking is essential, due to limited spaces:- lifewise.booking@southyorks.pnn.police.uk
