Armthorpe - Parking Patrols

This afternoon Doncaster East Neighbourhood Officers were on patrol around Armthorpe, paying particular attention to poorly parked vehicles.

This is a common issue raised at our Community Engagement Meetings.

We are aware that around school finishing times the volume of vehicles in certain areas increases, causing issues to the road network around Armthorpe.

Officers patrolled on foot and in vehicles advising those drivers who may have got their parking slightly wrong. 

A number of Advisory notices were issued over the afternoon in relation to parking on the pavement, parking too close to a junction, blocking a driveway etc.

We appreciate that parking can be difficult at times, but please consider where you choose to leave your vehicle, and if it is likely to cause any obstructions.

The main offenders today were found on:

Gunhills Lane, Mere Lane, Tranmoor Lane, Oak Grove, Milton Grove.
