We have recently been receiving reports of a suspicious male in the Jenkinson Grove playing fields area. Police have been attending this area regularly and have advised this male to leave on a number of occasions.

Today Officers have once again been called to the area, with reports of a drunken male in the park. On arrival Officers have located this male and he has now been arrested.

I understand the concerns this has raised, but please be reassured we are taking positive action.

The male will be released later tonight having been served with a Community protection notice detailing specific conditions he has to abide by.
